ACTIVITIES

Our wonderful climate makes being outdoors a must! For the more energetic, walking, horseriding, cycling, etc, are all available nearby. Or simply laze in the sun on one of the local beaches.

Boat trips are available from the village harbour to enable you to explore the coastline more closely.

For a little more variety and good shopping, head to the nearby resorts of Kusadasi or Bodrum.

Finally, culture vultures will find themselves spoilt for choice with the ancient sites of the area,

most notably Ephesus.

DILEK NATIONAL PARK

Distance: 1 km

 

After a 15 mıinute walk  from our guesthouse you arrive in the Dilek National Park. Discover unspoiled nature, four beautiful beaches or the Zeus cave. 

 

EPHESUS

Distance: 48 km

 

The city of Ephesus was one of the most important trading centers of the ancient world built in the 10th century BC. Even a whole day is not enough to see all parts of the antique area and enjoy it's atmosphere.

PRİENE, MİLET & DİDYMA

Distance: 31 km

 

The three antique settlements are less crowded than  Ephesus but not less impressive. In Milet you can see a magnificant theater in Didyma you can discover the Tempel of Appollon.

 

 

 

SELÇUK

Distance: 51 km

 

The wonderfull and idyllic situated small town Selçuk offers you a variety of historic sites. For example the Artemis Temple (on of The Seven Wonders of the World), the Grand Fortress or the Isa Bey Mosque. A lot of shops and small authentic restaurants make your stay comfortable.

 

 

 

ŞİRİNCE

Distance: 60 km

 

Situated between olive trees and vineyards, 9 kilometres away from Selçuk, you can discover the village of Şirince. It was found by greek settlers up in the hills in the 15th century and is nowadays famous for its sweet vines.

 

 

 

KUŞADASI

Distance: 26 km

 

Kuşadası is famous for the Pigeon Island, with its small fortress. 

 If you long for shopping visit one of the famous bazars or the local market which takes place on tuesday. 

 

 

 

İZMİR

Distance: 120 km

 

İzmir as Turkey's third biggest city has a lot of things to discover. Enjoy a tea while crossing the gulf of İzmir with the ferry, visit the fortress of Kadıfekale  with a view all over the city or take a walk along the coast on the Kordon boulevard.
